  Ecataromance, Sheryl, March 2006

"Mesmerizing adventure combined with intriguing action Under A Wild Wolf Moon is a compelling paranormal story to entertain readers. It's characters are wholly appealing and fascinating, like Faelan, a man who will do whatever it takes to be with the woman meant to be his mate. And Siobhan is a woman who discovers that everything she wants in life is in the palm of her hands if only she can remember. Faelan and Siobhan are willing to do whatever it takes to make their lives free from the brutal history that haunts them, even making sure no one can destroy what they have built. Raine McIntyre has created a successful world where shape shifting is a necessity and a prophesied love is the icing on the cake. I thoroughly enjoyed what little time I spent within this world and its characters and I hope to return to it again very soon. If you want to lose yourself in a magical world where shape shifters live then pick up a copy of this book today. "

Siobhan was discovered years ago afraid and alone except for two dogs who kept her warm. She can't remember her real parents or what she was doing out on that fateful night, but she knows that her adoptive mother sent her away from Destiny, Montana, in an effort to keep her safe – but from what? Now a university researcher on wolf lore, Siobhan is being called home to Destiny – and to her fate…

Faelan has spent thirteen years denying his heritage as a wolf-shifter. As the alpha of the pack, he's been gone too long and the Council demand that he returns to take his rightful place – and his rightful bride, his childhood friend Siobhan. He still loves her, but will she remember him – and will she agree to become his wife for the sake of saving wolf-kind, or will their enemies get to them first?

If you like werewolves then you'll enjoy this book, which presents a fresh and intriguing look at the shape-shifters mixed in with Gaelic mythology and druid lore. Siobhan is a great character you can really empathise with, especially as she struggles to recall her past. Faelan is definitely an alpha male – hot and hunky, he lights up the pages with his and Siobhan's sizzling sex scenes. A strong cast of secondary characters fills out a solid book from Ms McIntyre.

Fallen Angel Reviews, Gretchen, May06, Five Angels

Since ancient times in Ireland, Shapeshifters have been the guardians of the wolves. Legend says that when the Shapeshifters and wolf packs have dwindled and face their worst times, a strong alpha male and a female alpha with strong druid magic will mate and revive the clan to its former glory.

Siobhan Doyle is a biologist who studies wolves. She has just gotten a job studying wolves on the outskirts of her hometown of Destiny, Montana. She has always had a strong connection with all animals of the canine persuasion. In fact she can communicate with them, reading the images in their minds. She and her dog Aingeal prepare to move back home. She has mixed feelings about going back. The nightmares from her childhood recently have returned to haunt her sleep, flashing images of the trauma that wiped her memory. You see, Siobhan woke up in a barn in a bloody nightgown with head injuries when she was twelve. They only knew her name, which was written on the tag in her gown. The barn owner was Maeve, an older woman who raised Siobhan after no one claimed her.

Dr. Faelan Conroy, the leader of the wolf study in Destiny, Montana is also going home for the first time in years. His father is the alpha leader of the MacTire Clan in Destiny. He is also traveling home to help get the family business out of a sticky financial situation. On top of all that, the Council of the Clan expects him to find a mate and eventually take over, but Faelan will run his own life, thank you very much.

When Siobhan and Faelan meet, the chemistry is immediate. But Faelan also knows Siobhan from the past, and their meeting triggers Siobhan’s memories. Now Siobhan is exploring both her past and her feelings for Faelan. But the person who killed her family and left her past a blank slate is still a threat, and Siobhan’s memories are fragmented. Will she remember in time the man who destroyed her past before he can destroy her future?

I really loved this book. Siobhan is a determined, intelligent female who overcame the trauma of her childhood to make something of herself. Faelan is a strong, sensual man who protects those he cares about. The sheer heat of the sexual attraction between the two is truly stimulating. I loved the druid magic aspect added to the shapeshifter archetype. I also liked the minor characters of the book. Though I had a good idea of who the bad guy was pretty early, the tension built from his threat kept me glued to the pages. I am hoping this is one of many from Raine McIntyre. Well done!

Siobhan McMahon interviews for and proceeds to land a job with renowned biologist Faelan Conroy.  Siobhan doesn’t know it yet, but Faelan personally saw to it that she was the one chosen for the position as his research assistant.  It seems that Siobhan doesn’t remember life prior to the murder of her parents and Faelan is the key.  He is also her mate.

Faelan Conroy has spent years trying to protect the gray wolves of Montana.  Called home because of his father’s precarious health, Faelan is resigned to the fact that he will be the next alpha of his clan.  Now, if only he can help Siobhan remember the night her parents died.  Faelan is afraid that she won’t remember the friendship they shared so long ago.

Someone is harming gray wolves and Irish werewolves.  Siobhan and Faelan seem to be in danger as well.  All is not as it seems in the clan and there are surprises galore for the lovers.

Under a Wild Wolf Moon
by Raine McIntyre was an easy-going enjoyable novel.  Ms. McIntyre took the concept of shape shifting and moved it in a different direction from the other werewolf novels I have read.  A bit suspenseful, I was actually surprised at the ending, and that usually doesn’t happen.  Good job, Ms. McIntyre!

Siobhan is determined to save the wolves that are almost extinct. It helps that she is a part of a shape-shifting clan that has been around for a long time. Her only problem is she doesn't remember anything about the night her parents died or what happened. She has Faelan to help her keep the wolves' safe and try and figure out just what went wrong all those years ago. Together, they must find a way to keep their clan safe, save the wolves and regain her memory of the past. What secrets lurk in the darkness of her mind and what will happen when they are brought to the light?

I thoroughly enjoyed this story and before I knew it I was done. The plot is one that draws readers in and brings them into the mystery world of the paranormal. Siobhan is very courageous and brave to fight for what she believes in and try to save a rare species from dying out. Faelan is her helper and gives new meaning to the word sexy. This man has sensuality so intense he oozes it. Love scenes are fiery and sweltering, so keep a fan handy. Together they make a great couple and an even better team at keeping the clan from harm. Raine McIntyre has come up with incredible characters that are sure to stick around in the mind long after the story is finished.
